Ferrum Additive for Aluminum & Non-Ferrous Metal Processing
Instructions for Use
To ensure optimal performance, it is crucial to follow these guidelines when using our aluminum alloy additives:
- Remove any scum from the molten pool surface.
- Add the additive uniformly into the molten pool at a normal operating temperature of 730-760°C.
- Allow it to stand for 10-20 minutes.
- Stir the molten pool for 7-15 minutes after the standing period.
- Scrape off the scum and perform a chemical composition analysis.
Instructions for Use of Iron Additives
- Model: XL-TJ
- Purpose: Adjust the iron content in pure aluminum; serve as the alloying element-iron in aluminum alloy.
- Weight: Each piece weighs 500±5 grams
- Composition: 75% iron content
- Amount: For a 10,000 kg aluminum liquid where iron content needs adjustment from 0.2% to 0.5%, use approximately 47.6kg~48kg (or up to 96 pieces) of iron agent.
- Usage: After melting the charge, stir vigorously and sample for analysis. Calculate the iron agent amount for desired results. Ensure temperature is 730-760°C, remove surface slag, and evenly add the iron agent. Stand for 20-30 minutes, stir vigorously for 5 minutes, and then stand for an additional 5-10 minutes before sampling again. Proceed to the next stage once composition is validated.
Product Benefits
Our aluminum alloy additives guarantee stable and reliable performance:
