During the smelting process of aluminum and aluminum alloys, impurities can form due to the furnace environment and recycled materials. The refining process brings these impurities to the surface of the aluminum liquid, leading to slag formation. If untreated, these slags can result in aluminum loss. Our specialized flux ensures effective separation of slag from aluminum, reducing metal loss and enhancing aluminum purity.

Main Ingredients

• Chlorides: Sodium chloride (NaCl) and potassium chloride (KCl), efficient in removing oxides and sulfides.
• Fluorides: Calcium fluoride (CaF₂) and sodium fluoride (NaF), enhance slag cleaning.
• Carbonates: Sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃) and calcium carbonate (CaCO₃), assist in desulfurization and dephosphorization.
• Silicates: Sodium silicate (Na₂SiO₃), forms an easy-to-separate slag layer.
• Additional Additives: Aluminates, borates, etc., tailored for specific metals.

Usage Instructions

Sprinkle the slag remover evenly on the aluminum melt surface, releasing heat and causing the slag to turn red. Stir the slag appropriately and remove it once it becomes powder. For covering, apply in three stages: when the charge begins to melt, after full melting, and after refining completion. Adjust the amount based on reference dosage.
