Aluminum & Metal Degassing Refining Agent
Efficient Degassing Refining Agent for Molten Metal
This degassing refining agent is designed to effectively tackle harmful gases in molten metal. By eliminating hydrogen and oxygen, it prevents pores and defects, enhances metal purity, and boosts its mechanical properties.
Key Benefits of Our Degassing Refining Agent
- Gas Removal: Effectively eliminates hydrogen and oxygen, ensuring improved casting quality by reducing pores and shrinkage cavities.
- Enhanced Purity: Lowers gas content, increasing the metal’s purity and mechanical strength.
- Improved Casting Quality: Improves the surface and internal structure of castings, reducing inclusion defects by more than 50%.
- Enhanced Mechanical Properties: Improves strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance of metals.
Main Advantages
The refining agent, composed of hexachloroethane and buffers, efficiently removes hydrogen, oxide slag, and non-metallic inclusions. It is easy to use and exhibits a clear degassing effect. Post-treatment, the hydrogen content in aluminum is ≤0.1ml/100gAl, with AI203 inclusions reduced by 20%.
Usage Instructions
- Utilize a bell jar to submerge the agent deep into the aluminum liquid, moving horizontally until gas is no longer present.
- Refining should take a minimum of 10 minutes, followed by a stand period of 5-10 minutes for slag removal before proceeding.
Packaging and Storage
Available in corrugated boxes weighing 20-25 kg. Ensure proper storage to avoid moisture.
Safety and Precautions
- Uniform Distribution: Ensure even distribution in molten metal to avoid inconsistencies.
- Safety Protection: Use protective measures to avoid inhaling dust or contacting high-temperature metal.
